Delivery Information

At The Perfect Nursery Company, we work with a range of delivery partners to ensure your order arrives safely and efficiently. Delivery methods and delivery times vary depending on the type, size, and weight of the products purchased.

Please note that delivery lead times displayed on product pages should always be used as the most accurate estimate at the time of purchase.

Courier Delivery – Small & Medium Items

Smaller nursery products, accessories, and lightweight items are shipped using trusted courier partners including Yodel, InPost, Evri, and Royal Mail.

Examples may include:

  • Changing pads and changing essentials
  • Nursery décor and accessories
  • Feeding products
  • Smaller nursery products and accessories

Delivery Charges

  • Orders over £50 – FREE delivery
  • Orders under £50 – £3.95 including VAT

Once your order has been dispatched, tracking information will be provided where available.


Nursery & Children's Furniture – Dispatched by The Perfect Nursery Company

Furniture products stocked and dispatched directly by The Perfect Nursery Company are delivered according to their size and dimensions.

Medium Furniture Items

Furniture under 30kg and less than 150cm in length is generally delivered using Parcelforce Royal Mail 48-hour Signed For service.

Large Furniture Items

Larger furniture items are delivered through our specialist two-person home delivery partners.

Examples include:

  • Cots and cot beds
  • Nursery furniture sets
  • Toddler beds
  • Children's beds
  • Bunk beds
  • Larger furniture collections

Delivery lead times for larger furniture items are shown on the product page at the time of purchase. Most larger furniture orders are delivered within approximately 2–4 weeks, depending on product availability and delivery schedules.

Once your order is ready for delivery, our home delivery partner will contact you directly to arrange a suitable delivery date.


Direct From Supplier Delivery

Some products and brands are delivered directly from our trusted supplier partners. This allows us to offer a wider range of nursery and children's products while maintaining efficient delivery services.

Brands that may be delivered directly from suppliers include:

  • Babymore
  • Kids Avenue
  • Julian Bowen

Orders delivered directly from suppliers will follow the delivery lead times displayed on the relevant product page at the time of purchase.

Please note that delivery communication and methods may vary slightly depending on the supplier and product ordered.


Additional Delivery Information

Delivery Areas

We currently deliver to mainland UK addresses. Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, islands, Northern Ireland, and other remote locations may require additional delivery charges or extended delivery times. Please contact us before ordering if you are unsure.

Multiple Item Orders

If your order contains multiple products, items may arrive separately and on different dates. This is because products within the same order can be dispatched from different warehouse locations, suppliers, or delivery partners.

For example, mattresses may be supplied separately from furniture items, and smaller products such as changing pads, nursery accessories, or essentials may be delivered by courier while larger products such as changing tables or nursery furniture are delivered by a different delivery service.

If your order is arriving in multiple deliveries, this does not necessarily mean part of your order is missing.

Failed or Missed Furniture Deliveries

For larger furniture deliveries made through our two-person home delivery partners, customers will be contacted directly to arrange and confirm a delivery date.

Please ensure that someone is available to receive the delivery on the agreed date and time window. If a scheduled and confirmed delivery cannot be completed because no one is available to accept the order, this will be treated as a failed delivery.

If you are unable to receive your scheduled delivery, a charge will apply before any attempt is made to rearrange the delivery.

Re-delivery charge for failed large furniture deliveries:

  • Large furniture re-delivery charge – £45.00

If you decide to cancel or return an order following a failed delivery attempt, the following return and collection charges will apply:

  • 1 piece of furniture – £40.00
  • 2 pieces of furniture – £80.00
  • 3 pieces of furniture – £100.00

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change your delivery arrangements, as we may be able to help before delivery charges are incurred.

Delivery Times

Delivery estimates are based on working days and exclude weekends and bank holidays unless otherwise stated.
