Is solid oak really worth the extra cost for a kids bed?

Yes — solid oak beds provide greater robustness than cheaper chipboard or MDF-based frames, making them ideal for children’s rooms where durability and longevity matter.

Will the natural oak finish suit my child’s room decor?

Absolutely. The natural oak tone is neutral and versatile, pairing seamlessly with bold colours or subtle, minimalist schemes and adapting well as tastes evolve.

Are the beds safe for active children and sleep-overs?

Yes — these oak kids beds are designed with safety in mind: sturdy frames, no unnecessary materials, and options such as guard rails for younger children. You should always check specific product instructions for recommended age guidance.

Can these beds be combined with under-bed storage or drawers?

Yes — many of the beds in our oak kids bed range offer optional under-bed drawers or storage units. This helps maximise space and keeps the room organised.

What mattress size should I choose and is it included?

We sell mattresses in from major brands that fit perfectly with whichever bed you choose. Mattresses are sold separately to allow you freedom of choice in firmness, depth and brand.

Is the oak wood sustainably sourced?

Yes — the oak used is from responsibly-managed forests and chosen for its long-term suitability. This ensures both ethical sourcing and strong material performance.
