Quax Cottage Montessori House Bed 90 x 200cm - Natural

Montessori House Floor Bed 90 x 200cm – A Cosy First Bed for Sleep, Play & Independence

Create a magical first bedroom with the Quax Cottage Montessori House Bed. Designed to bring together independent sleep, imaginative play and beautiful contemporary styling, the Cottage creates a cosy little house where children can sleep, read, relax and let their imaginations run free.

The clever convertible design allows you to choose between a low-to-the-ground Montessori floor bed or a raised configuration using the included legs. With its charming pitched roof frame and optional fabric roof available in Butter or Chocolat, the Quax Cottage can be personalised to create a special sleep space your child will love.

Why Parents Love It

Montessori-Inspired Floor Bed Design

Configure the Cottage low to the ground to create an accessible Montessori-style sleeping space where children can climb in and out of bed independently, helping encourage confidence and independence around bedtime.

Converts to a Raised Bed

As your child grows or your needs change, the Cottage can be assembled using its legs to raise the sleeping platform from the floor, giving the bed a lighter, more traditional appearance.

Charming Cottage House Design

The distinctive pitched roof frame transforms an everyday children's bed into a cosy little house, creating a playful focal point for the bedroom and an inviting space for sleep and relaxation.

Full-Size European Single Bed

Designed for a 90 x 200cm European single mattress, the Cottage provides a generous full-size sleeping area that can be enjoyed throughout childhood.

Perfect for Sleep, Play & Relaxation

Create Their Own Little Hideaway

The house-shaped design creates a special space children can call their own, whether they're settling down for the night, looking through books or enjoying quiet play.

Optional Fabric Roof

Complete the cottage look with the coordinating Quax fabric roof, available separately in Butter or Chocolat. The fabric simply stretches over the roof frame and attaches using Velcro to create an even cosier house-bed feel.

A Design That Grows With Your Child

The combination of a playful house shape, full-size sleeping area and two height configurations means the Cottage can adapt as your child's needs and tastes develop.

Beautiful Contemporary Design

Calm, Modern Styling

The clean lines and understated finish give the Cottage a contemporary look that works beautifully in modern nurseries and children's bedrooms without feeling overly themed.

Easy to Personalise

Add favourite cushions, blankets, bedding and the optional fabric roof to create a bedroom that reflects your child's personality while retaining the bed's timeless design.

Durable Everyday Construction

Manufactured from high-quality MDF and particleboard, both selected for their dimensional stability and resistance to everyday use, the Cottage is designed for busy family life.
